This site is dedicated to the memory of Stevie Canty.

Stevie Canty was born in Eastbourne on April 20, 1937. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.

We lost Grandad Canty in 2013 to Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, a rare disease that causes scarring lung tissue and for which there is no cure.
Grandad lived in Tralee, Ireland, with his wife of 52 years and my grandma Eileen Canty. Grandad was loved by so many people and was such a fighter until the end. Grandad had an amazing sense of humour, always making everyone laugh, and he charmed everyone he met. He was also a great musical talent, playing the accordian in his local pubs and venues.

This tribute fund is so important to my family and me, Grandad's memory lives on in us. Thank you for visiting this fund and remembering Grandad Canty with us. Donating money to BLF in Grandad's name would mean so much to him, and it does to my family as well. Grandad battled with the disease, but to know that others were being helped in his name would make him so proud.

Thank you for reading this,
Charlotte, his Granddaughter.

Please leave a thought or donation if you visit this fund, we would love to know we have your support.
